Project Overview
With Scomunica, a creative agency based between Nettuno and New York, I’m contributing to the definition of a new strategic and operational positioning aimed at strengthening the agency’s identity as a flexible, contemporary collective highly specialized in promoting Made in Italy. I joined at a pivotal moment: the agency was transitioning from a primarily creative structure to a more strategic and consulting-driven model, with the goal of attracting mid-to-high tier B2B clients, both nationally and internationally.
Within this context, I’ve worked on improving internal workflows, developing scalable processes, and defining a value proposition that clearly differentiates Scomunica in the independent agency landscape. I’ve supported the creative direction team in writing concepts for active clients and prospects, while also contributing to the design of communication strategies, advertising campaigns, and social media planning.
Role and Responsibilities
Role Title: Business Developer & Digital Strategist

Responsibilities Overview:
Strategic research and development: I conducted market analysis, benchmarking, and competitor research to define project proposals for both active clients (e.g. SiEnergie, Colavita) and strategic prospects (e.g. Cirio, Petti, Caffè Borghetti, Oud).
Business development and consulting: I’m responsible for identifying new business opportunities, drafting custom editorial plans, preparing pitch materials, and overseeing the institutional tone of voice in client communications.
Advertising and performance marketing: I proposed and structured full-funnel advertising strategies (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn), with a focus on B2B lead generation and local SEO, using tools like SEMrush, Google Analytics, and Google My Business.
Internal process management: I optimized the management of PED (Digital Editorial Planning) workflows and cross-team projects, coordinating collaboration between content, design, and copywriting areas.
Content and branding: I contribute to writing creative concepts and storytelling for projects with high narrative potential (e.g. The Tomato Family for Cirio/Petti, La Cartucciera for Caffè Borghetti), aligning them with the visual identity and values of each brand.
Ongoing learning and upskilling: I completed vertical certifications on Learnn (including Google Ads and Paid Strategy), and I regularly follow trends and tools related to strategy and digital marketing.
Key Objectives
Within my role at Scomunica, one of the main goals has been to reinforce the agency’s positioning as a creative company with a strong strategic core. In a landscape where many agencies focus solely on aesthetics, we chose to position ourselves as a consulting partner, capable of analyzing markets, understanding client needs, and building tailored solutions.
On an operational level, I’ve worked to increase the quality and solidity of project proposals, aimed both at current clients (such as SiEnergie and Colavita) and strategic prospects (Cirio, Petti, Caffè Borghetti). The goal was clear: to consolidate Scomunica’s identity as an agency able to work with B2B companies and nationally relevant brands, not only through creative ideas but also with measurable, business-oriented strategies.
Strategy and Approach
The approach was structured on multiple levels, combining creative vision with a consulting mindset. I led the preliminary market and competitor analysis, using tools like SEMrush to identify key leverage points for our proposals. The collected data was essential in defining targeted positioning and advertising strategies, such as the full-funnel proposal for SiEnergie, focused on Google Ads, LinkedIn, and retargeting.
I also contributed to the development of creative concepts and storytelling aligned with the tone and values of the brands we analyzed — as in the case of The Tomato Family for Petti and Cirio, or La Cartucciera for Borghetti. Each concept was designed to offer a concrete solution to a real challenge, turning it into an opportunity for visibility and conversion.
In parallel, I worked on improving internal workflows, optimizing PED management and facilitating collaboration between content, design, and project management. The goal was to make the process more streamlined, scalable, and easy to monitor.
Results and Achievements
The work carried out led to a significant improvement in the quality of project proposals, contributing to the development of a replicable working method suitable even for structured clients. The strategic pitch decks created were used not only for prospect acquisition but also as internal templates for future presentations.
We received positive feedback from both clients and prospects, and several of the proposed concepts generated strong interest thanks to their originality, practical value, and alignment with brand goals. In particular, the work done for SiEnergie resulted in a comprehensive and scalable ADV proposal, with a detailed analysis of the market, budget, and key performance indicators.
